Dead Pony Club has been around for a while, and is freely available in supermarkets. And yet, I skip it when picking that weeks choice of beer. After a few sips, I'm left questioning myself.
Here's an old review on BeerAdvocate:
In the same mould as Brewdog's flagship Punk IPA.
A well rounded hoppy west coast IPA.
But where Dead Pony comes into it's own is it's lighter, hoppier, and ultimately more refreshing.
This feels spot on to me. The side of the can says "saddle up for session" (read it in a Yorkshire accent), which I can get behind. It's tasty, has a decent after taste, and is perfectly inoffensive.
